Welcome to PSHRA Sacramento Mother Lode

Welcome to the Sacramento-Mother Lode Chapter of PSHRA, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the human resource professionals within Northern California's public sector. As an integral part of the national organization PSHRA, which advocates for over 7,500 HR professionals across Federal, State, and Local government levels, our chapter brings together expertise, resources, and support for the region.

Our mission is to empower HR professionals by providing a wide range of services, including the dissemination of information on progressive personnel policies, benefits, labor relations, emerging workplace trends, state and federal legislations, cutting-edge HR practices, and valuable research data.

The Sacramento-Mother Lode Chapter's jurisdiction encompasses a diverse array of Northern California counties, including Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Shasta, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba.

Currently, our chapter boasts a membership of approximately 100 dedicated executives, managers, supervisors, and HR professionals who represent a multitude of city, county, state, special district, and other HR-related organizations.
